Well, not bang exactly, but it emmited a high-pitched noise before shutting down on me. the unit still fires up and will display a picture for a few seconds, but then it just dies
(it does this in the bios also) Im having to use my old 15" lcd now. i HATE 1024x768 
is there anything i can do besides throw this thing out my window in frustration? im really not having much luck lately.
