Hi all, got new pc last week, i5 2500k on MSI GD65 motherboard.

Was wondering if you guys could check out my 1st attempt at overclocking. I went to 48 on the multiplier and 1.35v plus some other volts changed as I read some Internet guides. Does this look ok?

Thanks

Molly

thats a helluva good 2500K you've got there, whats the ram tho, cos the voltage looks interesting?.

Hmm almost 3 hours of benchmarking, all seems fine, walk away to make a cuppa and pc just on idle, nothing running. Come back and bsod
Bump up the voltage or lower the multi a bit. I had this problem a while back with the same CPU and board. Was fine at load but leave it at idle for a while and bye bye. Upped the VCore to 1.335 for me and now I'm stable 24/7, seems I have a rather good chip though.
your screen shot in coretemp say's 3299MHz (99x33)
CoreTemp always does this with SB (on the MSI boards anyway). I tend to use RealTemp now which has a similar issue (reports multi as x0.0) but I find the interface better and it does GPU temp too.

My VCore is 1.35 in my screenshot above, is that to high then maybe? Come down to 1.335? I will try realtemp out.
