I am currently bored of my job, working at Mcdonalds, and want to try something new. But dont have a clue. I suppose the first step it to make a CV.

This is my first ever as the job I have applied for before didnt need one.

I no its bad, but English aint my strong point. So any advice / feedback will be appreciated

No need to say what you got for each GCSE, if they want to know they will ask.

In your situation it's probably best you leave it as

7 GCSEs A-C

You also need a statement at the top of your CV which is a sort of persona about what you are looking to do in the job market.

E.G.

Young motivated laddo looking for roles within the porn industry. Previously had experienced in fluffer roles and wish to move onto bigger things (pun intended). Looking for porn roles within the London area unless it involves giant orgies in which case I'll be prepared to travel.

I would put your grades tbh, sort out your line spacing, its off between your GCSE and A level.

Try to fill your 2nd page, if you actually put the names and addresses of your refernces it might help fill it.

Your name at the top and contact details might also be a good start ;)

Its hard really...most would say dont put your grades...but if the OP doesn't have any experience to work on then I presume it would be better to list his grades?

I would say so, if you have little or no experience (like me) teachers/career advisors always told us to state our GCSE grades and A level (if applicable)

DAMN, can't find it, but I remember AGES ago when I hadn't signed up, Spie posted about a CV xD -cues spie to post a link-

As people have said, don't list your qualifications, simply 7 GCSE A-C will be much better. You don't want your qualifications at the top of CV either, you have to think "what will my prospective employer think while reading this". They likely get plenty of CVs, can you imagine how tiring it is trying to read through them all? So they'll glance over it, maybe read the top of it -- so that's where you need to grab their attention, and unfortunately 7 GCSEs isn't going to impress them. You need a statement like rexe's, that does 2 things - let's the employer know you have a clear goal and you sell yourself.
Then you want to put any relevent experience or qualifications that would make you suitable for the role.
Then the irrelevent boring stuff.

That's my take on it anyway :)

As saId, you need a personal statement in thete that says a bit about what you do, what you offer and what your looking for.

Your interests should be bullet points rather than some schpiel about you photography style etc.

Your experience shop be better defined, by job title, rather than just experience.

My advice would be learn how to read and write English... or at least learn how to turn on your spell checker. Without wanting to be discourteous, McDonalds or a supermarket is probably the best you can hope for without making some serious changes (such as going back to school).

Don't put all that crap about the GCSEs you did, just write something like "7 GCSEs including Maths and English."
