My 1st ever C.V

You need more sub-headings:

PROFILE - a paragraph about what you do and what you're looking for
SKILLS - bullet point list including IT, management, communication skills etc

then experience/education/interests. Forget references section - if they want references they'll ask for them.

The reason you should put your grades is that your grades are your biggest selling point, unless your going for a job in fast food, then you would put your experience first.

I'd want to see how diverse my candidate was, grades show this easily.

You always start with your best bits to keep the prospective employer interested. A profile is definately required, think of it as a uni personal statement in 4-5 lines, short to the point.

Always write in the 3rd person I was taught, its paid off so far :D

"MCITP qualified technician proficient in VMware products and messaging applications." etc etc

Im sure somebody will be along to say otherwise but thats how I have written mine and will continue to do so.

You didnt mention what the job role your applying for is, we might be able to help you more if you let us know.

Best... bits... C's for all the major subjects?:confused::confused::confused:

OP needs to be realistic and just put 7 GCSEs A-C, take it from someone who's had his CV looked over by many many many people, including paid for corporate services. Showcasing that he screwed up his GCSEs then went on to do college on his best subject and subsequently got another C will not go well for him.

Sorry to be harsh but it's true. Best hope is to just put down 7 A-C and then he has a chance to get his foot in the door rather than the shredder.

No need to say what you got for each GCSE, if they want to know they will ask.

In your situation it's probably best you leave it as

7 GCSEs A-C

You also need a statement at the top of your CV which is a sort of persona about what you are looking to do in the job market.

Young motivated laddo looking for roles within the porn industry. Previously had experienced in fluffer roles and wish to move onto bigger things (pun intended). Looking for porn roles within the London area unless it involves giant orgies in which case I'll be prepared to travel.

Or B-C as it states already ;)
