I really like both cases, both are a pleasure to work on/in - the windows mark easily with small scratches, even when cleaning with a microfibre cloth.
I like the way Corsair has put some real thought into each case, separating the PSU and hard drive areas on both cases.
The 240 build is a power house, I'm getting silly low temps on the MB and CPU (29C and 43C at idle) and the AsRock motherboard has some seriously cool features, HDD saver, nightime mode (Disables all LED's on the board) - not to mention the 'Ultra M.2) and full 16x PCI-E lanes, combined with the CPU I chose I can get 40 PCI-E lanes which is really cool however one thing that did nark me was the single PWM header (Rest are 3 PIN)
Heat was a bit of an issue with the SLI, I added back plates (1 functional, one for looks) which did make a difference, in the end I added a Slimline 120mm fan under the bottom 780, that made a massive difference, at idle the cards are around 30 (Bottom) and 40 (Top) - strangely the best thing for the temps was changing the orientation of the case to sideways, that made the temps drop by about 5C on the GFX's.
I bought a quad stand monitor stand too, but the thing is massive, and even bigger with 4 monitors on it - so at the moment I'm just using two until I can convince the mrs to let me have one of the larger rooms in the house! Deffo need to re-think that one ..lol
The h100i in the 250D is making some very weird noises too which has disappointed me, its clicking/whirring which isn't great - I've had a look on the forum and there's a couple of fixes I'll try on the weekend, but think it maybe buggered. Bit gutted as its about a year old, so hope my new one in the 240 doesn't go on me too.
Hope you liked checking them out - I have a little i5 NUC build in progress too which I'll add later on
