**Just a little update from my previous thread**

Well this is my before and after, just thought id share, i have done one of these every few months *while im getting stronger and more lean* for all those people who want to loose weight but cant see the light at the end of the tunnel and might get a little inspiration.
-----------------------------
The first one on the left is of me in feb of 2009 and i was a large 23 and half stone, i think i wore it quite well.

The second on the right is of me as of january 27th 2011, currently just under 13 stone and a nice 9-10% body fat, please excuse the background as im in the middle of re-decorating and i know pic quality isnt great but i cant get much out of a 1mp camera :P

Anyway for all those people doubting themselves, this is what i did in 2 years, if i can do it so can you.
-----------------------------------
So heres how i did it, i started off by totally changing my diet, cut out all crap including sweets, crisps, fizzy drinks everything, only healthy foods allowed, a high protein low carbohydrate diet, but just to start out to get the main amount of the weight away, as i lost more weight i re-introduced carbs back into my diet, but just wholemeal carbs such as brown pasta maybe once a week.
Next i bought myself a stepper, i spent 30 minutes a day on it with a minimum being 20, as the weight started to drop i increased the time to 40 minutes then 50 etc etc... also doing situps, crunches, pushups, pullups, pretty much every excercise that doesnt need weights.
When i got to a decent weight i started going to the gym.
And thats pretty much it to be honest, if anyone out there says they cant loose weight then they are just lazy, plain and simple, everyone can do it, it just takes will power.

unbelievable transformation. you look like a completely different person.

i notice you dont appear to have any loose skin either, did you have surgery or know a magic trick?

Im doing a similar thing and actually did my pictures last night, im shocked
with the difference and very happy.

A few months left to get as lean as you mind ;)

Congratulations buddy, you look like a new man! I've been re-evaluating my diet the past month and not to derail the thread but what is the benefit in cutting carbs? If for example, your calorie intake is circa. 1800 per day for the average week, and your carb intake is around 150g average (230g is RDA), with a Basal Metabolic Rate of 1975 and a Daily Calorie calcuated need of around 2718 to maintain weight, surely you should lose weight regardless of cutting the carbs and even exercise? (of course you need exercise, the aforementioned is just hypothetical).

I'm new to the whole "doing it properly" thing, so apologies in advance.

I'd still like to see a full body shot, and one showing off your massive 16" arms you were talking about last time you posted the same story and pictures.........?

Plus that was clearly the same pic that you had labeled as December in the last thread, and whacking up the contrast is always going to improve definition :p
