My 24" hp is slowly turning yellow by itself. Do i need a new, whats wrong with it?

Now i was going to get a gtx 570 but i think i needa new monitor. Its a hp w2408h and its slowly turing yellow starting from the top right hand corner.
e.g the ebay page is white but on my monitor is yellow

I have not messed around with any of the settings. I ve had it since may 2008 and its been on for around 9-14 hours a day so has had some decent use.

I was thinking of going for a 27" monitor if i can find one for around 250 but cna strecth 300 but to max games on it will i need to buy a gtx 580 instead

Has anybody got any recomendation for a good 24/27" monitor under £300

Better to buy new really. You can still flog your old one as spares/repairs
