My 360 Controller has Broken!

This afternoon I came to have a go on PD0 and pressed the guide button as I always do to switch on the console and joypad. The joypad powered on but no 360 console. I noticed that all of the quadrants on the joypad are blinking randomly. This just continued so tried to switch the controller off but nothing. I removed the battery pack and replaced the batteries with fresh ones and tried again still nothing. After that I powered up the console but the quadrant on the console just span and the joypad still didn’t connect. I then tried the process for connecting another wireless pad to no avail. In the time since I was playing last to now nothing has been changed... Any ideas?

Well this is getting very weird! I just thought i would give it another try and it worked. I switched the console on first, then the pad and the quadrant lit up straight away. But then after having it running for a short while the pad has gone back into blinking mode and the quadrant on the console is blinking rapidly!

And now the console hasn’t powered off completely! The drive has span down, as well as the fans but the power light is still on and the quadrant is merrily blinking away!

Good! Please ignore the post and go away! If you cant be helpfull and all you have to moan about is the state of someones grammar then you are a very sad individual indeed! I am getting sick of idiots like you that just feel the need to spam threads and not have any actual input!

I'm one of the most helpful people here I feel, No one is more helpful than DaveyD though.

So what help were you in your original post? None! All you did was criticize. Did you even see the original post? I admit it was a little broken and rushed but I was in a rush and tbh a little Oi! No swearing! that my £300 console was not working! I edited the post shortly after. Want it more simple than that? Here you go:

1) I switched on My XBOX360 like always with the controller. The console did not power on.
2) All of the quadrants on the joypad were on and the ring was blinking randomly.
3) I replaced the batteries and it was still the same.
4) I powered on the console with the power button and went through the procedure to connect extra wireless pads but that didnt work.
5) Nothing has been changed and the console has not been moved since i was last playing it.
6) I tried it again tonigh first switching on the console then the joypad and it worked for a short while.
7) After about 5 mins of the demo running i noticed that the quadrant on the console was flickering rapidly and all 4 quadrants on the joypad were on and it was blinking randomly.
8) I tried to turn off the console with the power button, the fans and the drive powered down but the quadrant just kept flickering and the power led just stayed on. The only way to get it to go off was to remove the PSU from the back of the console.

Simple enough for you?

The state of this country is going downhill all the time, really annoys me.

That is the most ridiculous argument that I have ever heard on a forum. Yes, the country is going to crap! But its because of people defrauding the dole, influx of asylum seekers, terrorists, kids thinking they can do what they want, bent politicians, bills going up 4 times that of inflation to name but a few. Its NOT because someone in a rushed state wanting a little help with a problem uses poor grammar on a Oi! No swearing! forum!

I called Microsoft they told me to try another joypad. Will be doing that tomorrow.

I just thought that I would let you know that it is the XBOX that is faulty not the pad :(

The console is powering up ok, but I am not getting any power led or joypad connected quadrant now at all. To the repare center it will go!
