My 360 keeps getting the overheating lights

But not all the time, what can I do?

I rang up the shop I got it from but they said they have to see the fault, it doesn't happen all the time and I can't be arsed waiting around for like 10-40 mins hoping it does it. :/

Argh I just hope it does it, knowing my luck I'll get turned away.

Sod this, I'm getting a PS3 with the store credit, bloody 360.

Yup this would only be my 2nd one to break/be faulty but I just can't bebothered it's so much hassle unhooking everything to go down the shop.

Ahh that's good then, hopefully it'll go down well then, I already know I'm allowed to get £280 of store credit or a new 360, I'm just gonna get the 40gig PS3 I think.

It's only a few months old, September 26th when Halo 3 came out, I got the Halo 3 console.

Well now I do have a 100% reason to take it back and they can't deny this, MY BLOODY DISC TRAY JUST STOPPED OPENING!

There are more and more of us with PS3's and we have a strong community spirit (maybe because we are a smaller bunch) - clears throat and puts on darth vader voice "join us my son".

The plan is tomorrow to get the 40GB with 2 Blu-Ray's and any game for £330 and also gonna pick up Warhawk on PSN!

I do like the look of Uncharted and there's not much else I want anyway so I guess I'll get that!

Nah I went for an iPod Touch instead! I wasn't too fussed about having a PS3 when I had my 19" TV, the whole Blu-Ray barely looking better than DVD's on that TV was very off putting but now I have 1080p/24 goodness.

I only thought about getting a PS3 because when I think about it, it probably won't break, I've wanted to try Warhawk for a while and Blu-Ray which is definitely the format I've been most interested in.

Inoshishi no need now the disc tray is more than adequate as a fault.

I now have the PS3, it's taking a while to update but all is well and the fans aren't loud like my last one.

Got Uncharted + the PS3 for £320 and gonna buy Warhawk in a mo!

Should enjoy it more this time yeah got a nice big 1080P TV now for Blu-Ray and that and Uncharted is pretty good from what I've played so far!

I've been playing Warhawk mostly! Finally got my first kill.

I didn't have RGB full range HDMI turned on though so just enabled that! I heard that helped a lot of people with getting better picture qualitay.

I've only got Casino Royale at the moment which looks pretty good but it's in a letterbox

Gonna buy something else tonight I think.
