Argh I just hope it does it, knowing my luck I'll get turned away.Wrap it up to heat it up so it happens more often than 10-40 minutes. Leave it with them and go grab a burger or something.
Ahhh I'll give them a ring tomorrow, maybe I'll get a different person!I'd take it to the shop. I've had electrical goods with intermittent faults and they've never told me to specifically "show" them, they have to take your word for it. The customer is always right![]()
Yup this would only be my 2nd one to break/be faulty but I just can't bebothered it's so much hassle unhooking everything to go down the shop.Wouldn't blame you right now, the 360 has well and truely pee'd me off today.
Ahh that's good then, hopefully it'll go down well then, I already know I'm allowed to get £280 of store credit or a new 360, I'm just gonna get the 40gig PS3 I think.Intermittent or not, they need to prove it's not faulty. You don't have to prove it is.
How long have you had it?
Thats karma working for you.
There are more and more of us with PS3's and we have a strong community spirit (maybe because we are a smaller bunch) - clears throat and puts on darth vader voice "join us my son".
Nah it's the top 2 lights flashing when looking up at it standing vertical.what are "the overheating lights"?
is it like a green clockwise swirl?
Make it Uncharted as it is stunning!
Thought you were going to get a PS3 from the US?
If you do get another one i hope you enjoy it more than last time!
Josh
Good choice for games there if you can and you like driving games see if you can get hold of GT5P from somewhere. I guess its a 40Gb one they are not so power hungry as the 60GBs so prob dont require as much cooling ergo should be quiter, hope you enjoy it more this time.
I've been playing Warhawk mostly! Finally got my first kill.Wicked!
You gonna have fun on Uncharted! While not being in the same league graphically as Crysis, it's the best looking console game i've played. Later levels are stunning!
I bet 1080p blu ray looks immense. Only got a measly 720p here. Need to by a new TV soon.
Josh
It's very TV dependant from what I've read, I found on mine that a lot of detail was lost in the darker areas when using it - or maybe that's how it's intended but I don't like it.
EDIT: actually, just been reading about it and it's intention is that - to give darker blacks and brighter whites, overall contrast is actually much better.
