Hey All,

Just fitted my Sapphire X1900XTX yesterday and got round to clocking it today.

Managed to get 688mhz on the core and 792mhz on the memory using the standard ATI Overdrive utility and then ran a 3DMark 05 test.

I scored 11740.

Does that score seem about right for my card with those clocks.

Thanks, Sam

Hmmm think it should be a little higher than that? I got 10342 with my clocked 1800XT.

What CPU are you using??
I am only using a Opty 146 @ 2.8ghz.

Will try and get more of an overclock on it later.

Your score is spot on mate. I scored 11605 with a [email protected] and a very slight clocked x1900xt 512Mb (core 665Mhz v's 625Mhz, Memory 743/1486 v's 725/1450).

Of course *cough* as others have *cough* I could have pimped my conroe, 8800gts and x1800xt 10K+ scores, but I figured the above is a fairer comparision. Enjoy your new card. :)

Aye I'd say your on par.

The score in my screenshot is at 2.8Ghz with this X2 CPU and the X1900 is OC'd to 702/841 I think. It was a few months ago when I was interested in overclocking the graphics. Done it for a day, got bored and got into some gaming instead :D .

Rob that is some crazy core speeds ;) . Nice job. Sadly I only learned and attempted in one day and never tried again but after seeing your score it's getting me thinking lol. Remove the stock cooler, brasso it and apply some AS5, then onto some crazy frustrating overclocking. Might give it a go on Monday with the omega's as when I tried it it was on the ATI drivers and with only having one day at it I didn't really get too far.
