I delidded my 4790k and put some liquid metal on it, then replaced the IHS.
It's cooled by a H100i on a front intake, with a single set of push fans (Corsair ML120s).
I have managed to get it running at 4.7ghz with 1.275v (LLC set to high), with load volts maxing at 1.300v. I'm just using the CPU's IGP for the monitor output. Will that add to the CPU temps?
I'm going to be disabling the IGP when I move my 1080 to this new rig.
I have ran 5 iterations of realbench benchmark, and 15 mins of realbench stress test (8gb), and reached a max temp of 60c.
Is this a good result?
I'm not looking to torture my CPU with Prime95 etc. Just testing stability for everyday use and gaming.
