My 4k LG TV shows 1080p 120hz but ...

When I game it's clearly not 120hz in fact it's stuttering. I've enabled it in the Nvidia control panel and it even show's 120fps in game.

Is there anything I can do to get 120hz working ?? Why would I have this option if it can't actually do it.

No this isn't a motion enhancer ****** that tv s sometimes have claiming 600hz etc....this is a resolution selection made in Nvidia control panel selecting 1920x1080 at 120hz.

If I can get true 120hz I'll be happy as a pig in *****
