My 5850 came today, but problems are here.

This is what I was going to suggest a good starting point for any stability problems, especially after a hardware upgrade where things (especially memory sticks) can get slightly unseated and cause intermittent problems.
 
Hmm, i have the 5850 back in atm and is going well so far. The card was slightly lose with the screw that was holding it in, so i used a better screw...I keep removing USBs and it's not turning of. I bet it will turn of just when i think it's working.
 
Still not turned of...Well after all the sweat and hard work, looks like it just needed screwing more securely that tiny bit more.

Well i will presume that's the end. This is where i thank you all very much for the help, believe me, it was appreciated. Can feel very daunting when you get issues with your pc.

sound like it was turning off because of the slight case movement when you were pulling out the usb's :) fingers crossed that this problem is over now
