My 5950X has just arrived, what are the dos and don'ts for bios setup?

As in the title my new 5950X has turned up and is waiting to be installed.

I am still quite new to AMD CPUs.

Are there any recommended BIOS settings that should be used with the 5950X to get the most out of it?

I'm not sure what everyone else is doing but I've found the less you mess with them the better the result!

Are you looking to overclock or just get max stock performance ie not a fixed clock?

Looking to do both.

But most of time will run at stock.

Update the BIOS to the latest version, or your board might not support the processor...

Just installed the 5950X

This CPU is the dogs assets, I have hardly started tweaking it but have already used it to smash 8 Packs 4 card score in Unigine Valley where he used LN2 to cool the CPU and I was using a single air cooled GPU.

Best CPU I have seen in a very long time, well done AMD.

What settings have you got so far and what cooler are you using?

I'm just using PDO, memory @3466mhz and an AIO triple rad cooler.

I have still to start tweaking it.
