My 8k car Followup thread...

Are you still near Telford? If you get bored there's a handy ecu mapping place just up the road in Cannock that did my 2.2 version of your engine and made a hell of a difference!

This thread was always gonna end in a Mondeo or variant.

Too many jags available for around 2-4k with lower mileage a year or so older to make me want to part with 8k for one.

Overclockers logic is great but not necessarily fun and in this case doesn't accommodate individual wants.

If I listened to ocuk logic I wouldn't have my m3!

Ah well ya only live once and I haven't seen others In this colour and spec a massive amount cheaper.

I tried out better value cars like the mondeo etc but it just didn't make me feel the same.

Just looking forward to collecting it now :-)
 
Its all about a deal you are happy with and I too wouldn't buy a mondeo. I would buy an x type but like said up the thread more for about £4k.

Still I'm sure you will like it :D
