Only happens when gaming I think, it stops again when I'm back on the desktop, any ideas?

EDIT: It's not the monitor, it's either the GPU or the PSU.

No That didn't work, it makes the same weird whine/buzz right down at 60Hz. I also noticed some quite bad screen tearing yesterday while playing PUBG, G-Sync is ON and my in game FPS was hovering around 100, is my monitor dying?

OMG I'm an idiot, it's my GPU that's making the noise. Even so that's probably just as bad as it's an EVGA 1080ti Hybrid! Luckily it's still in warranty so I'll drop the retailer an email.

Wrong again, I think it's actually the PSU that's making the noise! Again this is still under warranty so I'll contact the retailer. I went for the Corsair RM series rather than CX as they were supposed to be a bit better quality.

Get a sheet of A4 and roll it up into a cone shape and use that to try and isolate the component (large part on your ear, use the smaller part around the case to isolate). Bit like a reverse ear-trumpet. Should help.

Is your PC on the desk next to your monitor? If it isn't that's got to be some loud coilwhine for you to hear it.

This is an old photo, and its not even the same tower but you can just see where the tower sits in relation to the monitor:
