My AOC 27G2G5 Goes to sleep and wont waken.

I have just got the above monitor from OCUK the monitor is fine however, for some reason if the monitor is left on for some time it goes to sleep but then wont wake up, just states that there is no signal.

I dont even have the screen set to sleep if its unsused for so long, so i dont know why it is going to sleep.

I am using the DPort from my gtx 1070

And am running windows 10. Any advice would be great as im at a loss as to why its doing this.

I just got an AOC AG273QX and I had the same problem. Whenever the machine suspended the monitor won't wake up. Weirdly I changed the cable to the one in the box and it works fine. I don't really understand it since it wasn't a problem on the old monitor and they're DP 1.2 cables.
