I couldn't really think of an answer apart from "when it's raining."

I think this thread has relevance

You can go bowling when it rains but you try getting to the bowling alley after a few beers with a few mates at midnight or later. Do that for a few of nights and there is the price of a Wii :)

I don't need babysitters either to play in my living room.

oh and by the way. don't let your dad play GTA, they are video games :D

Tell him

Because I can't afford to go bowling every night at £6 per game plus town parking. Golf is a waste of a good walk, but is somehow fun on the wii and finding a tennis court that doesn't require a £68 per month john loyd membership round here is impossible.

Muy arms are stiff as anything this morning too, great fun though.
My son is in agony from playing on it all day !

Weather stinks in N Ireland! :(

It almost rains every time you think you want to do something outside...

It's not really a good question is it. All those are costly leisure pursuits most people can only do from time to time, if we all had cheap golf courses, bowling alleys and tennis courts five minutes from home he might have had a point.
