my august build can you please check to see if anything needs to be changed. i have a dell 24 screen vista ultimatex64 and this will compliment this.

EVGA GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (768-P2-E831-AR).

can anyone reccomend me some memory as ive heard vista is mem hungry... thNX
 
I must say the above spec looks pretty much perfect. However, you should change the HDD's to the "SE16" version, rather than the "RE". The "RE" is the enterprise version, whilst the "SE16" is the consumer version. You can find it here.

Also, your DVD drive isn't SATA, you'll need to change it to this.

As for your memory, 4GB would be a good idea so have a look at this.

Forget the OCZ memory, go for 2 sets of ballistix, 5300 clock nicely, but if your not clocking perhaps go for 6400.

I would avoid 4 x 1GB RAM personally, overclocking ability and performance is reduced. A 2 x 2GB is the way to go.

Er no it isn't, as long as you don't choose a P.O.S MCH like the nvidia chipsets, p35 can handle my 4*5300 1gb sticks at 1200 5-5-5-15 no problem.

95% of 2x2gb kits cant clock for anything.
