So i've used a Razer Lachesis for the past 10 years and it's finally starting to show signs of dying (buttons not working every press etc)

The problem i have is that i'm so used to playing using this mouse that whenever i've used other gaming mice round friends houses etc - i find them too large, too heavy, wrong shape etc.

Ideally i'd love to just get another working Lachesis, but given it's a 10-year-old mouse - that seems unlikely.

So, what i want is a mouse that is as similar ergonomically as possible to the Lachesis.

I use a hybrid fingertip grip with my palm lightly resting on the bulge at the rear of the mouse (Lachesis seems to be the only mouse i've seen with a bulge at the rear rather than in the middle of the mouse). My wrist is generally stationary with the majority of mouse movement performed by my thumb+pinky finger grip on either side of the mouse. Only the fingertips of my index and second finger touch the top of the mouse, with my 3rd finger generally resting on the edge of the mouse above my pinky.

The mains things i'm looking for are;

- Rubber / non-slip surface on the mouse buttons (sweaty buttons are awful).
- Similar bulge to the rear of the mouse so that my palm can rest on it as described above.
- No heavier than approx 130g

FYI - My hand is 18cm / 8.5cm and i play mostly FPS games.

Any advice from seasoned gamers who use a similar style of grip / setup would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
Adam.

PS. Budget - I'll pay whatever is needed for the right mouse.

If you like the current mouse you could replace the switches with a solder iron and a youtube tutorial, not sure what to recommend but thought you might like that idea perhaps?

If the person has one or knows someone with one. The cost of a good soldering iron you're already half way to a new mouse. A 10 year old sensor feels quite bad to todays.
