Cracking pics mate. Can't fault them. One of the monkeys is in a bit of a lewd pose though :p

Fantastic shots, are a few of them through the glass? I went to Twycross a few weeks back and got nowhere near the quality of them shots.

All of the monkey shots bar the fence one were through glass, as were the parrot shots and the chimp :)

Has any pp taken place like usm?

Nothing outside of my usual workflow. Every image out of my camera gets sharpened to some degree, digital really needs it :)

Thanks for all the nice comments guys :)

may i ask what that is

i have some photos of twycross

living in leicester its not too far a drive away

but im not even going to dare to post mine for fear of humiliation :(

I shoot in RAW, open with Adobe Camera Raw and tinker there until it looks vaguely like what I want.

Then at the very minimum its a levels adjustment, curves and unsharp mask before saving. If it needs it I crop, boost saturation, clone things out etc etc. I am not great with PS yet, but I have a book and I am learning slowly :)

hmm don't like these at all i'm afraid DRZ, they just lack feel. As a new photographer though it's a good learning process, as you'll be able to look back on these in a few months and think "wow, have I improved that much?" better luck next time mate.

They are absolutely stunning mate, every set of images you post is an improvement on the last, and the last is hardly a bad set. Me? Jealous? yea.
Tom.

I would totally disagree with those comments. I personally think that DRZ did a fabalous job and those photographs really stand out and the colour is lovely and vibrant. Good job I say.
