Ray,

Sorry mate but the bike has been sold, it was so difficult to sort out
delivering the bike to you plus I got a better offer. Sorry to mess you
about and thanks for the interest but it just had to go.

I feel like crying. :(
its a 2002 reg with full MOT and TAX etc etc 1300. It sounded perfect and it was going to come TOMORROW.
i will never find a deal as good as that on the internet.

anyone seen any around? im willing to spend about 1400 ish on a 125 2 stoke preff.

thanks ray

I agree with SaBBz. If the guy told you that he'd accepted your offer and the bike was yours, and then he sells it to someone else...

Did you get it through the 'bay or a private seller?

just a private seller from some random forum....
im more sad than angry actually, i had sleep less nights etc.
and what makes it a lot worse is the fact that its the night before.
my rents are just telling me to get over it, but i doubt that will be easy...

i think il go sleep now.
gd night everyone

Think to yourself youve had a lucky escape, it could have been a pig.
Thats why I normally buy from dealers coz you've always got some come back.
If the guy was that untrustworthy who knows what might have been wrong with it, tax and mot dosnt mean the thing was a minter.

Something else will come along. Chin up

gutted but there is no use going of on one with him, its his bike and he can sell it to who he likes, normally if your buying then you have to go pick it up so thats probably what put him off is you wanting delivery

suppose your right but still... does depress me a little.

dealers are too expensive to buy from.... my bugget as you can see is not far wide.
and im guessing no one knows no one whos selling a 125 2 stroke bike...

I got a new car this week - if I was told it was told it it was sold to someone else, I would have gone insane.

Sorry to hear that mate :(

its a dog, leave well alone ;)

patience is what you need here, i know the feeling, the money is burning a hole in the sky rocket, but if you have some patience and explore every avenue then you will find something that wont leave you wondering if you have made the right choice in the first place.

And once you have, a deposit secures!!! ;)

Do a search for RS125 on fleabay and you will find there is slightly more choice for your sort of budget, there are some fairly nice ones on there as it goes ;)

im doing my best. im looking on bay and biketrader, what other sites are there?
and are there any good cheap bike carrier? how much about will it cost? lets say for 150 miles away?

That is whats going to really limit you, been able to pick it up.

In my local paper theres a man and van for hire do you not have anything like that, can you rent a van for the day or anything, proper bike carriers are usually expensive.

I paid £50 for a 120 mile round trip that was on very short notice, i rang him and 10 minits later we set of.

this may sound crazy but i found another bike. this one doesnt have tax but has MOT fot another 6 months.
has a small scratch on the side. its 1250 quid with delivery.
is this crazy thing to do?

Looks decent enough, how did the panels get scratched ? be carefull for ones that have been dragged down the road on there side.

Cant see the exhaust lasting much longer it looks really bad in the pic might just need a coat of high temp paint though, i cant see them been cheap but aint got a clue tbh.

How many miles, owners and whatnot any service history, is it a garage or joe bloggs.

I cant give you any good advise about nsr's just bikes in general so you probably know everything ive said already.

EDIT: Dont rush into anything if your unsure, bikes come up all the time and you can guarentee a better deal will come up the same day you buy one, just make sure your 100% its right, any doubts walk away.

yeah i saw the exhausts getting rusty.
apparently he let his mate ride on the bike and thats when it all happend.
its had some parts replaced but not every part that was damaged.
ummm milage i cant remember but it wasnt that much, service history i think it comes with and it was stored in garage.

i still havnt paid but i will pay 250 quid as deposit (the way he wants it) by paypal. and the rest of 1000 pounds, if im happy by cash when he delivers.
