My BIOS has reset - please help

Looks like my BIOS has reset itself. My RAM is running at 1033 and not 1600 as it did yesterday. How do I turn XMP 'on' in the BIOS. I have been looking, but it’s a minefield to me. Can someone direct me?
Also, I’ve lost my second hard drive. It’s not detected in the BIOS. How do I get it back?
Please help if you can.
