Right guys -

The above was my build until a few days ago. I had an Antec Kulher on both my CPU and GFX card, but the card was having issues in this case with the memory overheating etc (seems obvious as I didn't have any heatsinks etc on them). Although it wasn't a problem in my previous case.

I put the stock intel cooler back on and the stock GTX670 cooler back on which brought me to this point... the search for silence.

My specs :

I5-2500K
ASRock Z77E-ITX Motherboard
GTX 670
OCZ Agility 3 128gb SSD
2TB HD
1TB HD
750W Modular PSU

The build won't be a super speedy build as I'll slowly be getting my parts together, but once complete should be a good reference for another Prodigy water cooled case.

Looking at the below pic -

I'm planning to run -

240 60mm rad in the roof - push pull if there's room.
120 60mm or 80mm rad in the front of the case
Apogee Drive II block pump
GTX 670 Full waterblock (undecided on which)

The reason I'm looking to go with a 120mm rad in the front instead of a 200 phobya is because I want to make sure I'll still have space for the longest of graphics card in the future.

I plan to have the 120 rad in the lower section of the front of the case - custom mount my mechanical HDs and mount a res of some sort possible on the front of the case also.

sound like a solid plan mate, why not free up space inside and mount the 120mm rad outside on the rear? all you would need to do is locate two holes for the tubing? that way uou can still have the hdd cage and just mount the res above the cage?

so res -> pump/block -> 120 -> gpu -> 240 -> res

Finalising ordering the last few bits....

I was going for the Apogee Drive II, but due to the fact that I can't find it for sale anywhere in the UK I think I'm going with the following....

1 x XSPC Rasa CPU Waterblock - Copper Acetal £39.98
1 x EK DCP 4.0 Pump (12v) £39.98
1 x XSPC Razor GTX670 Backplate £16.98

Total : £218.84 (includes shipping : FREE).

I'll also be ordering the Res to go with it elsewhere as it's out of stock on here...

thoughts?? :)

Well I was going to go with that pump in the basket list along with the res which mounts on to it. Now I'm thinking I'll go with the swiftech res I got today as I like how it mounts and I can swivel it out to fill/drain it.

So now looking for a possible different pump....

I was going to have the mechanical drives in a raid enclosure but they don't spin down when not in use for long periods of time. Not ideal.

I'm going to re-think my layout slightly and see if I can keep the lower HD cage somehow.

Still want the bitfenix recon fan controller for the drive bay, but not sure if I could get it to fit with the rad there. Mmmmm.

Really need someone with one first to ask exact dimensions of certain parts of it.

**** correction - I just accessed the HDs and heard them spin up in the enclosure! All good ****

How are you mounting your hdd's? And I would have thought you would only use ssd's since you're going for a quiet build.
