All over.
Before I had a dual boot system on one hard disk. Primary partition had XP Pro, and the other partition had Vista x64.

XP Pro got a nasty virus which destroyed pretty much all my exes so I reformatted and reinstalled, and now I can't get to choose to boot Vista :(

How do I get the boot screen back?

Had the same thing happen to me recently. I could not find a way to put it back without reinstalling the entire OS.

I had 32 bit XP & Vista on the same PC but a recent MS update destroyed the boot loader so it was quicker to just reinstall them both as I spent a good few hours but could not find anyway to put the boot menu back on.
MS do not have any info I could find on this. Messing around with Bcedit just makes things worse as you end up destroying the MBR config. All their tools to fix the boot loader or mbr do not do anything for the other files to give you the bootloader back.

Loads of threads about this on the MS Vista communities it would appear that Vista after the recent updates is not compatible with XP + Vista on the same PC. 2 copies of Vista is fine (I now run Home Premium & Ultimate on the same PC instead of XP + Ultimate as it got disabled twice in the same week!!).
