Hi, my brother has finally finished sticking bits on his Seat Leon 1.8T Cupra and I thought i'd just share some pics with you as I think it looks really nice. What do you lot think?

This is what it looked like when he bought it last June.

looks good mate, nicely done, not too tight or loose ;)

body kit is nice and subtle while makeing the car look allot meaner, quiet like the origenal wheels though....

Looks nice, although I wish he hadn't bought wheels that are similar to the look of the Cupra-R wheels, almost as if he is trying to pretend its something that it isn't (which is a shame, as the 1.8T is a very competent car in itself).

Does look nice though :)

Very nice, have considered doing similar to mine on a few occasions, makes one hell of a difference :)

Looking good. Those original wheels are awful looking.
I would put the same kit on my Toledo 20VT if I wasn't changing it later in the year, it's not over the top and finishes the car off nicely.

Are those new wheels the new RS4 replicas?

Looks very sharp indeed

Uses the Audi TT engine doesn't it?

It's the 180bhp verision of the VAG 1.8 20 valve turbo unit which I believe was used in the TT as well. It's a great engine with plenty of tuning potential, with a few hundred quid the power can be upped to about 210bhp :D

Those are indeed the RS4 replicas.

He had the kit put on back in January but just put those wheels on last week. the price of the RS4 replicass and tyres wasn't much more than the cost to replace the tyres on the original wheels for some reason, so he just bought the new wheels. I have no idea how much it cost to do all of that but i'll find out. I'd say around £2k by the time he had it sprayed and that.

He had it lowered a few months ago and since putting the new wheels on he's not going to lower it anymore. He had a lot of problems even getting into the local Tesco petrol station before (gets discount there due to being a manager) so the only plans he has for it now is to get it remapped.

Looks good! Now how about a tiny bit of lowering?

2nd That... that would just finish it off nicely, it looks awkward with those gaps..

I know what you say about speed bumps, but it isn't that low, you can see a good few inches under the front splitter ;)

If he is going for a remap, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Jabbasport remap. I paid 300 quid for their load and go map, and the difference still gives me grins now!

The vRS also has the same engine, mines currenlty got a full Blueflame exhaust system with downpipe and sport cats, and a Carbonio CAI.

May 11th is new Dump Valve, Boost Controller and the all special custom Jabba map.

Should then be producing around 240bhp, thats it's power wise untill I sort out the rest of the car. Then it's FMIC and a couple of internal updrages. Then theres not much point going much more in a FWD.

I know.
So far I've had the remap, Milltek catback exhaust and Forge TIP. I'd like to get a sports cat and FMIC if I can save the pennies. I'll be satisfied I'd done as much as I need to then... You'll be happy with the Jabba map. They are really helpful people.
