I'd go for a 3570k (and Z77 board) if you can spare an additional £70.

The 7850 can max out almost all games at 1080p, so long as you go easy on anti-aliasing effects.

i3s are acceptable for light gaming, but since you are already planning on buying a good discrete graphics card you will probably want to play games that desire an i5.

i5 would be obviously better, but the pocket rules. Personally I would look at that as a balanced build but to improve I would look towards the i5 as the next updgrade

I can't believe no one has said this yet but the power supply you have chosen is dreadful. You need a decent branded power supply for that rig, preferably 500W.
