Sitting in work bored I decided to check out the price difference of my build a year on.. beats doing work 
Didnt buy all the components from the same place, so I will use prices from their sites as its easy to click on my parts from my order to bring up the current pricing of it (current price in bold)
NZXT Phantom 410 - £94 (£83)
BENQ G2222HDL - £95 (£91)
Gigabyte Z77-DS3H S1155 - £69 (£72)
G.Skill 8GB Ripjaws-X DDR3 PC3-12800 - £40 (£56)
WD 500GB Blue - £53 (£42)
Sony 24x DVD-RW - £12 (£15) - not on site, found one at £10 and another at £19, call it £15
Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz S1155 6MB - £165 (£169) - not on site, price varies across the board, I chose the cheapest for retail from Google shopping
OCZ 500W CoreXStream - £31 (£33)
Sapphire 7850 2gb - £180 (£155)
I find it interesting that I bought all this in July 2012, and here we are September 2013 and the price difference a year on is only £23. I have obviously spent more on it but the above was my original build (mech keyboard, mouse, ssd etc are newer) but I change the peripherals regularly so didnt include them.
