hey guys planning to build new comp in a bout 6months:

just want some opinions on these

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 965 Black Edition 3.40GHz (Socket AM3)

Asus Crosshair III Formula AMD 790FX (Socket AM3) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard

Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C7 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel (TR3X6G1600C7)

Gainward GeForce GTX 295 1792MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card (Single PCB) (going to get 2 of these, i was planning on getting bfg but aint selling now)

Corsair HX 1000W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-1000HXUK)

will b using windows 7

Your going to have a Tri Channel Ram kit on a Dual Channel motherboard. You may want to look into getting 2 Dual Channel kits.

My guess is that 1000W PSU more than you need.

get 2 batches of these saves me about 50 quid rather than buying all 8gb

am wanting to build a machine thats going to last at least 5years
