I'm having an issue with the calendar on my phone (Galaxy S, 2.1 stock). By default, there's the stock "My Calendar". I have an Exchange account that syncs with the phone, so a calendar entry on Outlook from the PC shows up on the phone with no issue.

But putting a calendar entry on the phone and that entry doesn't show up on Outlook. When you make the entry on the phone, below the event is where you want that entry to go: My Calendar (default). If, before I make the entry, I touch My Calendar, I can choose that entry to go to My Calendar, Google Calendar or Corporate Calendar (Outlook). You can only choose one.

I want to avoid having to go through the extra stage of specifying what calendar to use. I've disabled the Google calendar, had a play around with the settings...I simply want all my entries to go to Outlook from the phone and vice versa.

Is there any way of changing the default choice of My Calendar to Corporate? Or an app that does what I want?

Cheers for any help or advice.

Not sure if it an HTC addition, but on my Desire I can add events to the Exchange server calendar without any issue....

It's running 2.1 Android also.

I can add events, but I have to manually specify what calendar for each event otherwise it goes to My Calendar, I'd be happy if My Calendar synched the whole lot to Exchange, but it doesn't.

Small issue, but a PITA.

As tbz_ck said, on my Desire it defaults to the Exchange calendar. Running 2.2 btw.

Have you check the settings in the calendar app? On mine I can select which calendars I want to see, so I can remove all the non-Exchange ones if I want.

I thought I was missing some obvious, but even if I disable all calendars apart from the Exchange one, every time you enter an event, My Calendar remains default and you have to click through and choose Exchange.

Unless I'm doing it wrong, disabling the calendars is just disabling viewing the events tied to them, not actually stopping them.
