My car got broken into last night ...

so there i was last night, round to visit some mates, car parked in a main road, under street lights, in a busy street.

walking back to the car at about 1am, i noticed the passenger window smashed all over the front 2 seats, the passenger door with a big muddy boot print, and the door slightly ajar ... and they didnt take anything

probably some drunk, having a fight with his bird, and he just decided to put his siz 10 through my window ....

not happy, not happy at all. now my fiesta has a black bag taped over the window, and looks like a ***** car ....

Try using cling wrap for a window, at least you will be able to see out of it

Thats unlucky, I know how you feel. We had one of our cars at work broken into a few weeks ago. Well, they smashed the rear drivers side window and rear quarterlight (why? ), and didn't steal anything. Not that there was anything to take, as it's a car that'll go on sale at some point in the near future. It's enough to drive you round the twist.

With the door print on the door, they would have tried to bend the top of the door back, to get thier hand in through the top to flick up the latch. The window would have smashed and they would have ran off or something.

Ive actually seen this done before.
