I am everywhere...
the driver drove off, i wasnt driving at the time but someone withnessed the whole thing. The driver was driving a sainsbury delivery van and ive been told by the staff they will run through the GPS database to find out who exactly is the driver.

Police and insurance company has been informed. I was given a form to fill in but no registration mark was taken by the withness so police wont do much other than give reference number. My insurance company (norwich union) is just complete and utterly useless.

At the moment im waiting for the sainsbury office to get back to me hopefully with whodunit and details of their insurance. By the look of things it might have to be a full respray.

The damage is on the rear quaterside on driverside. Anyway thanks for reading, advice appeciated.

its horrific where i live, vans doing a fair speed down narrow roads with cars parked both sides

many times ive gone in to lectures in the morning and seen a whole row of cars with their sides completely scratched/dented. marks are fairly high, meaning vans or a big 4x4.

Just like the proffessor in futurama will say....Goodnews everybody, sainsbusy have tracked down the driver and forwarded the details to me, He's admited but saying he didnt know.... So i guess all that end well ends well!

Thanks (now i can sleep well)

Lol

How can you admit to doing something if you didnt know you've done it

He knew damn well he had done it, but thought he would get away with it. This kind of thing happens a lot at work, we have CCTV now though, camera never lies :D

Fog

EDIT: damn my slow typing *shakes fist at Ultra*

Dont care what he says, he's a fool. He said he only noticed the alarm went off when it drove past. The gps data shows he was in the vicinity at the time so all in my favour.

Im going for a full respray.
