My Case :(

I went a bit cheap when buying my case and so I've decided to buy a new one putting a bit more into it this time ;)

This is what I have now:

However, it feels a bit flimsy and doesn't look too good out in the open. Plus part of the cd flap is broken and it does my head in having to pull it down before pressing eject.

However, it is amazingly cool with one fan and it is the perfect size (once I'd chopped the feet off).

Thats the thing. Where it fits in, it is perfect so how can I search for a case by size?

I mean, I can get another 2 - 3 inchs space if I pull my desk apart and put it back together. I was thinking about getting this since it has some decent reviews:

Or should I not go with something so cheap again?

Something like this maybe:

Anyone know any medium sized cases?

Im sure that many, many posters will recommend the Antec 300. Seems to be the 'budget' caseof choice at the mo along with the CM 590

I had the old version of that coolermaster case the side pannels were alittle bit flimsy but were better after some sound deadening was put on it.

Antec 300 is a great case but its about 2cm taller than the silverstone

Do you know the height of the Antec, I quite like although will probably have to rebuild my desk to fit it in, or just have it at the side...

205 x 458 x 465 mm (WxHxD mm) - Antec 300

190 x 434 x 476 (WxHxD mm) - Asus TA-D31

185 x 413 x 486 (WxHxD mm) - CM 335

200 x 438 x 450 mm (WxHxD mm) - Precision

I have 2 Precisions and can say that its a really good quality case on a budget.

Classic design and tool less bays.

With modification to my desk, I've got 540mm height, without, I've got 435mm. I'm favouring the CM at the moment although might go for the Antec if I can take apart the desk.

how about the Lian Li PC-A05NB
210mm x 381mm x 490mm (W x H x D)
or PC-7B (will fit without the feet)
210x450x490 mm ( W,H,D)

Both do cost more, but are worth the money, and will see 5-10 system rebuilds
