Wonderful news, enjoy the little ones, mum may hide them in a few days so don’t worry. :)

A while back we came back on a Sunday afternoon to find ours giving birth under my bedside cabinet, she stopped after eight.

Awww, awesome.

if you're looking to give them away, post a thread. i might be looking to get a companion-kitten for my cat soon.

ill be getting rid of maybe 3 but defo 2, i cant take my eyes off them for a second! mother seems ok and shes only a year and half old herself!

the pure black one is being really funny already! bet hes gonna be a right pain when they grow up lol! he keeps nicking the nipples off the other ones so cute and funny! ill take some more pictures in the morning!

congrats and enjoy :)

makes me a little sad remembering my cat lost all of her 3 kittens a year ago, she almost died too. shes now back to her perky self. i think i can hear her now out back terrorising a fox :D

really want kittens again but will have to be with another cat.

We've always had our cats fixed for years but when I was a lad our cats had kittens and it was ace.

Just to add to what AOD has said though, please, please, give them away, DO NOT CHARGE. I absolutely hate seeing in the classifieds "Kittens £40". Selling them is just so very wrong.

To a certain degree, you do want to charge, because you'll automatically weed out a lot of timewasters and potentially nasty people who would happily play nice, get a free kitten then mistreat it or not think about it properly think its cheap and neglect/throw it away at a later date.

A price just makes people take it a little bit more seriously IMHO and considering the price of cat food for years its not like £50 is unaffordable to anyone whose getting a kitten, but will certainly make a lot of people stop and think if they really want one for £50.

why is it wrong to sell a cat but not a dog? or are you against both? :S

hopefully they wont wreck ur house, but i would get a paper and see how much they sell for and put them around the same price why not sell them as its cost u to feed and look after them ur just compensating for that.

ive already got homes for 3 of them! as they are going to close friends and family! i wasn't expecting her to have 4 but im sure the other one wont be hard to get rid of! and i aint charging either!

it wont really cost me a lot to look after and feed them as my mates sister is a vet and she giving me everything for free! which is a bonus!

ill get some pictures later! they been sleeping for ages!

I want the black one.

Sounds like my former cat Smug, jet black, cheeky and naughty, what a great cat he was.

Trying to persuade me lass to allow me to get one, she's a dog fan though.

If i am lucky enough my next cat will be called 'Sir Bobby'

Good on you Westie.

Kittens that are pedigree should be sold in my opinion. Go to the vets and put a card up offering them free to a good home. Avoid the classifieds though.
