My cat is insane

Has anyone actually, ever, been killed by a cat?

I mean I know it's a meme and all that. But srsly. Death by cat is not really a thing.

I might even start a petition on change.org. Cats are given a really bad name by using this species stereotype. I will write to the ASA and ask if they wouldn't mind banning it, on the grounds that it is engenders prejudice against cats in children.

no no no, cmon man you oughta be smarter than that.

the question isn't has anyone been killed by a cat, the question has a cat ever been caught killing someone, and the answer is no, because these creatures are clever. they spend months, years even studying their targets. then when the time is right they kill them, dispose discretely of the remains, and then replace them with mechanical clone.

ever wondered about the "crazy cat lady"? well that's just a cover, both a sanctuary and a forum for cats to converge and plan their world domination, who knows how many people cats have replaced, hell for all we know they've overtaken society.

The real issues start when it brings you another cat, then a dog, then a deer, then a person. At that point you should be worried. It could be building upto you.

Have you seen it reading any books or thumbs on its paws? This could be the beginning of the rise of the planet of the cats.

Since it is a female cat its actually treating you like one of its children, and trying to teach you to hunt by bringing back dead or dying animals like it would do for its children if it were wild.

I don't think the cat is trying to teach anything to the human.

If the human has been feeding their cat cat food then the human is the one who has taught this behaviour to the cat. The cat is more likely to just be mimicking the human's behaviour.

What you need to do is go near the rat/pigeon or whatever (it's very important that the cat is watching what you do with the carcass). Get down on all fours and start sniffing the carcass a bit, maybe poke it, and then taste it a little (but only one lick), then very clearly turn your back and walk away from carcass while showing the cat that you clearly don't like it.

The fact that you actually lap up the dead carcass and it's disappeared soon after simply shows that you have accepted the gift and have eaten it and your behaviour towards the carcass simply reinforces the cat to want to bring you even more crap.
