, I have both already.
When I have any thing to give away to the members here, I would always set rules/requirements, so;
- Must be a member who joined more than 1 month ago and have a certain amount of posts e.g. no guy who joined 2+ years ago but only has like 1-50 posts
And of course;
- if they joined within the month the free give away was posted, but have more than 20 posts or something (not spam), then they can enter
Never post it publicly on the thread, use a random number generator or set something up like the best joke wins and then send the code or whatever via the trust system
Wish more competitions/give aways (especially the ones that OCUK host e.g. the 560TI 448 give away etc.) had some guidelines/requirements like the above, don't know about you all, but it does my head in when, people join just to/the "lurkers" enter the competitions etc. and not bother taking part in the rest of the forum/community at all again until the next competition etc.

Yup, pretty sure that is the case as well!
Don't mind the big xmas give away one as it is posted on the main OCUK shop site, however the ones, which are posted via only the forum e.g. the 560TI 448 give away and says in the T&C:
I feel should have something like the above requirements posted by me.
