Spec in sig. (This has happened twice)
Anyway i clocked my e6300 to 3.0 ghz and ran sp2004 for around 5 hours and it was fine. Played games all day yesterday then when i wake up, the computer no longer likes the settings i'm using. Now it won't boot. Anyway the point of this thread is to ask for some recommended settings ?

It was stable with:

PCI-Express freqency 100
Chipset voltage +0.1
FCH ? 0.1
VCore (cpu voltage) to 1.44v. (1.45 usually causes crashes for me..)
420 fsb
RAM timings @ 4-4-4-12
Ram voltage 0.3v
Memory 2.0

Well at least i thought it was stable with those setting but when i wake up in the mornings after turning it off that doesn't seem to be the case  . Would just like suggestions of what to change when my computer decides to finally boot again.

Hey all just thought i would post my solution after trying things for the last 6 hours my computer finally works, the problem was that the heatsink was on to tight.... :) yup after about 50 non boots i loosened the heatsink a tad and it booted. I remember last night after i turned my pc off i tightened my heatsink because i wasn't getting amazing temperatures. Hope this could help anyone who may have similar issues.

Had a similar issue with an office pc that was only running a celeron! after a few hours piddling around happened to try it without the hsf clamped down and it worked  so attached it not so tight and it's been fine for several months.

Guess theres some dodgy connections around the cpu socket, at least you got it sussed :)

lol i'm about to overclock again now after resetting my cmos let's see if i return  .

Yeh it seemed to become stable when i reduced it from 1.44 to 1.43 :/ :), everything else the same as my first post
