I loaded Macrium Reflect to check if there were any updates. The default opening screen is Backup which shows all available drives. I was surprised to see that the computer (windows 10) had grown a new drive, named "G". I had no USBs attached.
I went to Windows Explorer and clicked on the drive and received a message in the right hand corner, saying something like "Obtain your Bitlocker key from USB Drive". Panic!
I haven't knowlingly installed or dabled with Bitlocker, as such I haven't got a clue what it is or what caused it.
I tried clicking on the open window within the G Drive and chose "New Folder" and was told that was NOT possible.
Simultaneously I received a message from Bitdefender telling me to install an update which I did, I had to restart my computer. Now after restarting, fortunately the G Drive is NOT shown.
Can someone please advise me what might have happened, what caused it, what is it and am I likely to encounter it again?
Thanks
