My computer is overheating

I have a problem where my computer is overheating and I know this because the perfocmace has dropped and the whole case is too warm as well.
Gonna need more than that to help you, pictures, case brand, how many fans, hardware component list, type of cooler used on the cpu?

There is not much information in your post but my initial response would be that it could be full of dust and needs cleaning. Can you unplug it, take the side panel off and take a picture of the fans over the CPU, graphics card and on the case?

If the cooling worked and now it doesn't, likely a fan died or the vents are clogged up. Even if it was a prebuilt and you don't know what the case was some pictures might help people help.

Blast some compressed air around the coolers, you'll be surprised how much dust it'll blow out! Give cpuid HW monitor a try to identify what is overheating.

try running it without the side panel on for a bit to see how the temps fare? You may also be able to identify whether a specific area of the PC is emitting more heat than others - and troubleshoot
