My Computer Says I have a Floppy Drive, and I Don't!

Right, so I had a small overclocking problem. My E5200 was OCed to 2.9GHz for probably a month. All was fine, I played my games, and Prime95 tests were positive after like 6 hours.

2/3 days go, when I put on my PC, it told me that OCing failed and it automatically put it back to 2.5GHz. Not too bothered, as the .8GHz wasn't a huge improvement.

Nothing changed, apart from one thing. When I go on My COmputer, it says I have a floppy drive, which I clearly don't :S I have NO idea how this got here tbh, as I don't have a Floppy installed.

Whenever I try to clock on it, right or left click, it just freezes for a bit, then stays on the normal My Computer page.

It's not a big deal, but its annoying :P Any idea how I can remove it

Spec:
CPU: E5200 @ 2.5GHz
RAM: Corsair 4GB Ram
HDD: WD 500GB
PSU: Stock 500w
GPU: HIS Radeon HD 4850 1GB

You just need to disable the FDD (floppy disk drive) in your BIOS. They'll be an option in there somewhere to disable it.

Small bump, I went in the BIOS, could see no sign on floppy, except in boot priority, where floppy was first. I removed that though.

As for SATA drives etc, it just read HDD and DVD drive

If you still have the P5KPL-AM then this is what you need to change in the BIOS:

If that doesn't work, or the setting is already "Disabled", then there's something else going on.

Oh don't worry, Floppy drives aren't expensive these days, you could pick one up or for only a few quid... ;)
Why would I want one :P
good advice: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
It clearly is :P

@Buchanan0204, nope, apart from the fact that if I click it for some reason, my pc gets stuck for a few seconds. Its still annoying though
