I just thought I would create a thread where people can discuss their PC Setup- How many machines & the Tasks they are used for.
Also what your thinking is around why you have these & your thoughts around upgrading them or keeping them useful
I have Two machines
Tower 1
Ryzen 1800X
ASUS Crosshair VI Hero
16GB Dark Rock Pro (8 Pack) 3200Mhz
6GB GTX1060
750 Watt Gold Rated Superflower PSU
Couple of SSD’s 256 & 512GB
Corsair 400c Case
Corsair K65 LUX & Razer Naga Special Edition Green
This is my Daily Driver & is used for most Tasks including Gaming (WoW, Eve etc but also going to play some Warhammer Total War)
I also using it for any Browsing, Office stuff or Running some VM’s Via Workstation
Tower 2
Ryzen 1200 @ 3.6Ghz
MSI Xpower Titanium X370
8 Gig DDR 3 Corsair Vengeance 3000 Mhz
4GB 750Ti
650 Watt EVGA Gold Rated PSU
256 GB SSD
Corsair 400c Case
Corsair K63 Red Led & Razer Naga Chroma
This machine is used as a spare for any of the other Tasks I carry out mainly Wow or whether someone jumps on quickly to browse or do documents
My machine are usually just Bang for Buck machines rather than being all powerful as I play Games at 1080p
I was wondering what people use on a regular Basis or have lying around spare just in case?
Its quite fun to see what approach others have taken over the Years whether its on Price or Performance - or even both
