My computer won't POST + Logitech Illuminated keyboard

Hello

My computer won't POST unless my Logitech Illuminated keyboard is connected to one specific USB port on the back panel of the motherboard. Even then, no other device can be plugged into the second USB port at the same time. I have now run out of USB ports. Has anyone got any idea why this would happen, and how to resolve it? I want to be able to permanently wire in my new iPad dock!

too many usb devices drawing too much power, only asking cause you say you've run out of usb ports? tho i'd have thought that if that was the case some of the usb devices would simply not function. try unplugging all but the keyboard then plug in one at a time?

I have connected a bluetooth dongle, monitor hub, mouse, remote control receiver, iPhone dock and the keyboard. I don't think any of them would suck much power other than perhaps the iPhone when docked and charging, and the keyboard, since it is backlit. I am beginning to think that the keyboard simply sucks too much power to work alongside another device.

Hi again

I'm still having this issue. Now I have to disconnect my iPad to get the computer to boot, but once it has POSTed, I can connect the iPad again, and everything functions as normal. What gives, why won't it boot with all devices plugged in?
