must say these conroes are amazing :)
mine is priming at 3ghz (e6300@430 fsb) at stock volts :p
temp is 58c under load on a zalman s9500-would a ninja do it better?

Same clock as I currently have, definitely amazing processors. :) My E6300 is currently 32ºc idle and 46ºc at full load under a Ninja. ;)

jeese that is cool! gonna get me a ninja.i take it you have the fan fitted?

I dont get temps like that with my ninja. They are either not as good as everyone says or the chips put out quite a bit of heat

Nope, I am not using it as it rubs against one of my other fans. I have an 80mm intake on my side window and two 80mm exhausts in the rear so I get plenty of nice airflow through the machine.

What's say with coretemp at full load?
46ºc at full load when running two instances of SP2004, which is actually a higher temp than when I run the CPU tests in 3D Mark 06.

Or there's something wrong with your Ninja, or it needs re-seating. When I first put the Ninja on I was getting 70ºc under load with a 2.8GHz OC, I thought that was oddly high so I re-applied my AS5 and reseated it and bam, temps dropped by a good 20+ degrees.

Addition: Here, I grabbed a screenshot of my system running SpeedFan and 2x SP2004 for almost ten minutes under maximum load. I would've done it longer, but I need this PC. :p

As you can see; a 3GHz overclock, 100% load on both cores, and 0% fanspeed due to not having any installed apart from my case fans.

Sure that not the motherboard cpu sensor, are you checking the "on die" diode core sensors?
Temp 1 is the ambient temp sensor, temp 2 is the CPU sensor. :)

Edit: Just ran Core Temp Beta 0.9.0.91 and got more or less the same result (on both cores), just a couple of degrees higher.

Mine has been reseated then i swapped out my CPU for a 6600 that got hot too
im now back to using the E6300 with load temps of around 60C

yep thanx :) 3.2 ghz now.prob is,when do you stop!! :D and its still on stock volts.

Nice Oc man. What are your ram timings at 3GHz and at 3.2GHz? I'd be intrested as i have the same ram.

How much noise does your zalman s9500 make? Do you have to have the fan spinning at max speed?

had to up vdimm to 2.25v.fsb by.1 but vcore still at stock :)
zalman is a bit noisier than i would like but thats prob because i was comming from a 120mm fan[the zalman uses a 92mm]
