Quad core Kentsfield (2 Conroes on one chip).

Wow quad core hadn't even heard of that let alone seen it benched. Impressive, had no idea quad core was available.

hmmmmmmmm looks like next year is gonna be very interesting, ill probably upgrade next christmas, gonna starts saving for the 8core conroe and a vapochil LS, hoping to hit about 4GHZ on 8 cores and PWN all u n00b h4x0rz, seriously though if this has already been made and is currently under testing when is it gonna be released?

I think it's due out early next year. Intel hand out engineering samples for testing a good 6 months before release by all accounts.

so all the guys buying extreme edition conroes just now are gonna be gutted come jan/feb, rofl, madness slip me 1 of the 8 core conroes will ya, when do you reckon you can bench 1 of them beasts for us? how well do the kentsfields overclock, i would guess similarly to what happened to the x2's when you start adding extra cores things get too hot too quickly and will overclock poorly compared to previous chips
