Another day, another rig. This is what I'm currently looking to buy as my main computer to replace the one in the sig. I'm looking to link them via a wireless network. Can you guys cast your eye over this and check out my spec? In particular, can you check over the Mobo (DS3 VsDS4?), memory and case P160 Vs P180. Also is it better to buy the retail chip or OEM chip plus a HSF - i'm looking to spend the same amount on this? Cheers.

Looks good!!

I would get the oem version of E6300 and get a Freezer 7 pro, much better than the stock HSF.

Either DS4 or DS3 will be fine, both are awsome overclockers, although people tend to get higher fsb with DS3. If Raid / Crossfire / Heatpipe are important to you then go for DS4. I'd suggest the ASUS P5B-Deluxe if you are willing to spend extra £30, comes with built-in wireless card, too!!

Go for the Seasonic S12 / M12 600W if you can, probably the best PSU atm, not saying the Tagans are bad, they're not, it's just that I have a TG530-U15 Easycon myself and the 12V rail tend to drop by a considerable amount under heavy load, although still within acceptable range, while the 5V & 3.3V rails tend to overvolt, not sure about the TG580 though.

Nice choice of vid card, I would have gone for 1900XT 256mb myself untill DX10 becomes popular.

Good suggestions. Not considered the Asus nor the Seasonic (although I've heard they're good).

Yeah Asus is a good board also, but you got a cracker there anyway, im using the DS4 with my E6600 here, and its a cracking board, and the DS3/DS4 are highly rated, also good choice on the graphics card, x1900 XT 256mb is an absolute cracker for the price, will see you well into next year no trouble. :)

Yeah Seasonics are very good PSU's, mind you in saying that the Tagan is good as well, so either way you got a decent PSU. :)
