Basically its going to be a gaming rig and there will be no overclocking whatsoever thats why ive chosen some cheaper memory, but should still be good as its GEIL.
And am i right that the motherboard does support crossfire and you dont need to mod it so it does :)

well ive just finished my order and its changed a bit this is what ive ordered:

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS Edition - Retail

So i think thats a lot better and with the 74gb hardrive thats for my OS and the other is for my games :)
Looking at my sig below do you think the difference will be big in games that i currently struggle with.

the components in your current sig shouldn't be struggling with anything!!!!!

How do you mean struggle with current games?

With that gfx card and cpu, nothing should really struggle at all!!

enjoy your new rig but i'm stunned that anything is struggling with a X1900XTX and 4800 x2.

Nowt wrong with the Geil Ultra Low Latency pc6400C4 800mhz 2gb kit, using the same Ram here with an E6600 Conroe, and my rigs still at stock, no need to overclock it as its fast enough, spose it will come in handy if i ever do want to overclock, but i can't see it, games are flying anyway. :)

Im afraid even with my current spec some of the newer games aint running amazingly well. But i wont have that worry now with this beast fingers crossed :)

PSU is more than fine, even for CrossFire ;)

TBH don't see how your current rig is struggling? If you compare the X2 4800+ & E6600 (here), its no slouch :D

Think you should have gone CrossFire or even 8800GTX :( On a positive note, resale value of your 'old' components is very good :)
