My Core2 Rig....advice and pointers please.

Well I have decided to upgrade to Core2 and have chosen this setup to start with -

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 S775, 2.40Ghz, 1066Mhz FSB, Conroe Core, 4M Cache

2Gb (2X1Gb) Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC6400 (800), 240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 4-4-4-12, EPP.

Asus P5WDG2-WS Extreme i975X, S775, PCI-E (x16), DDR2 800, SATA I / II, SATA RAID, ATX.

512MB Sapphire Radeon X1900 XT PCI-E (x16) Mem 1450 MHz, GPU 625 MHz, 48 Pipes VIVO - Slave.

ATI Radeon X1900 ***Crossfire Edition*** 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Mastercard.

Will this little lot work together or can anyone suggest any changes/improvements?

All answers appreciated as this is my first venture into Intel territory.

The Lian-Li cases i here are very good. Was thinking about getting one myself and you can buy the Window side panel's from HERE

i would go g-skil 6400hz 2gb kit,

some very good clocking results from these.

also what cooler?

i have the asus p5w dh and the gskill 6400hz rules with it.

running 4 x 1gb sticks with no issues, clocked from a 2.13ghz to 3.36ghz fsb is at 410mhz with no issues mem is runnin at 1035mhz i think it is.

at work so cannot check,

read up on both types of ram, but from what i could find the g-skill 6400hz series was amongst the best to go for.

you can get a stick fail from any manufacturer

i dont recall seeing any failed g-skill horror stories, apart from incompatible issues with the 6400nr and the ds3?? board?

0506 or 0606 on the g-skill which is what ocuk are currently shipping out are the dogz dangalies.

Just noticed that the board I have chosen isnt compatable with CrossFire(according to the site where I am buynig it).

Can anyone shed some light on this or recommend me a board that id CrossFire compatable
