Hi,
my system is: Intel E5200 Overclocked to 3.2GHZ
Asus P5QL PRO
Corsair DDR2 800 Ram O'C to 854
HIS ATi HD 4670 1GB GDDR3 O'C to 850 , 930#
Corsair VX 450w PCU
What the issue is that when i overclock the above, I did some research and it said my stock voltage was 1.2, so i overclocked using 256 x 12.5 giving me the 3.2 set the vcore to 1.2 (reed that you can go to about 3.2ghz on stock voltage) and run prime95 for about 6hrs + 3dmark06 4 times, with not 1 crash, fail.
Most would say so what are you worried about! well after a bit more research i found that other people with same cpu use a vcore of of about 1.34! to archive 3.2!
The software included with my board came with a voltage meter, and it say my vcore is only 1.18v and when i load a game the voltage lowers to 1.17v so whats with that?
I play games maxed out for hours on end with no blue screens so i guess im asking if others think this is ok or should i up the vcore abit.
can include images of what i mean, just ask.
Many thanks
