good question lol.
i'm guessing it's the IMC...my mobo was displaying q-code 55
and it couldn't post when i tried the cpu on my 2nd pc

but i'm surprised as i've not used more than 1.65v on my ram and i've never played with vccio =x

Intel has a great RMA system they will pay for it to be shipped there and back. Just contact them and they will issue you an RMA. One of mine I sent and had it back within a week, it had to go to another country.

If its sandybridge I thought it was 1.5v max for memory, anything higher would damage the IMC of the CPU

yea i contacted intel. got the rma number and they're paying for shipping there and back =)
t'was a 3770k - stock volts mild oc to 4.2ghz only

yea for sandy 1.5v was max, but ivy should handle 1.65 no probs i thought =x
