My CPU lapping journey has begun....ill keep this thread updated

As title! starting lapping my xp-120-extreme, its hard goin, been doin it 20 mins, nearly there though, today ill be lapping my heatsink and Q6600.

At 1st they were REALLY uneven, when i removed the heatsink the outer 20% edge wasnt even in contact with the IHS , to be honest of all the pics and stuff iv seen of this before, iv never quite come accross one SO uneven as this, temps at load at 3.6ghz were 71,68,58,58

Ok after sitting for a good while, 3600mhz, 1.424v in the Q6600 iv got 62,63,60,59 degrees celcius on the temps, im thinking these are acceptable for the speed What you think folks ?
